PAL-V: The World’s First Flying Car

Supporting the Development of a Revolutionary Tilting Vehicle

Brink Dynamics contributed to the early development of the PAL-V, the world’s first flying car to combine road and air travel in a single, functional vehicle. We played an important role by sharing our expertise in tilting systems — knowledge built from years of experience developing advanced leaning vehicles like the Carver One.

Our insights into dynamic tilting mechanisms helped guide the integration of a stable, road-capable tilting platform for the PAL-V’s first generation. This foundational work was essential to ensuring the vehicle could perform safely and intuitively during ground operation — a critical component for any roadable aircraft.

Our Contribution:

  • Shared deep technical knowledge from Carver and DVC system development

  • Advised on tilting system design during early PAL-V concept stages

  • Helped inform the road-handling capabilities of the first flying prototype

We’re proud that our unique experience in dynamic vehicle control played a role in the success of such a pioneering project. The PAL-V stands as a milestone in the evolution of mobility — and we’re honored to have contributed to its early foundations.
